Hermit Thrush
This is another premiere at Chidlovski Blog Chidlovski.
Hermit Thrushes never appeared before in our Wildlife and Nature series. Shape wise they look like American Robins but Hermit Thrushes are smaller and has a rich brown upper body and smudged spots on the breast, with a warm, reddish tail that sets it apart from similar species in its genus.
Hermit Thrushes stand upright, often with their bills slightly raised. Like other thrushes, the head is round and the tail fairly long.
This Hermit Thrush agreed for a quick photo session with us in Winthrop, MA.
Welcome aboard, little fella!
