Sidney Crosby Joins the Triple Gold Club
The 27-year-old Canadian superstar Sydney Crosby joined the prestigious Triple Gold Club after Team Canada destroyed Team Russia 6-1 in the final game for the 2015 IIHF World Championship in Prague.
The Triple Gold Club consists of the hockey players who managed to win gold medals at the Olympics, World Championsips and to win the NHL Stanley Cup.
Crosby became the 26th member of the Club. He won the Stanley Cup with Pittsburgh Penguins in 2009, won gold at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver (2010) and Sochi (2014) and now won the 2015 World Championship with Team Canada. Needless to say, he captained all these teams.
