George Ulrich passed away last night.
George was my friend and long term partner at work.
He was a great man.
I still can’t believe that now I have to refer to him in the past tense.
He was 63.

I know that George was not only a colleague to you all, but also a friend. Please know that I have been hoping for nothing but the best for George and his family. He was certainly one of a kind and I know that I was a better person for knowing him. During this difficult time, I hope you can find some solace knowing the he also thought highly of you. He was a good man.

Thank you Arthur. I enjoyed working alongside George the past 5+ years. On a personal note, George helped me pick out a bicycle. We went for a ride around Boston and he taught me the rules of the road for bicyclists. George will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
So sad! He was so sweet.
