Grackles
There are lots of common grackles in our area this year.
Much more than last year. I wonder if it can be interpreted somehow by good old “Farmer’s Almanac” and alike.
Grackles are proudly walking on the grass area looking for their food.
I actually like grackles.
They don’t project quick fun of finches and sparrows. They don’t give you shivering look of hawks or eagles.
They don’t act like starlings in loud flocks that look like groups of sailors in a port pub on Friday night.
Grackles are on their own. They live in a parallel world and periodically give us an odd yellow eye look from that other parallel world.
