Cardinal In the Belle Isle Marshes
I just realized that I didn’t have field photo sessions with birds for almost two months.
It was a nice sunny day today and I went for a couple of hours to the Belle Isle to pay a visit to our chirping friends.
The summer and fall are gone. So are most of the birds.
At first, the place looked deserted. The secret of watching birds is in its consistency. The eyes need to be trained on a regular basis. Otherwise, all the observational skills you’ve learned after hours of studying these little guys become pretty rusty and useless. You need to watch and listen 🙂
I was about to leave the area when I heard a lovely song by a Northern Cardinal. Then I spotted him on the branches.
– You forgot everything! – stated little fella with a sharp red crest.
Here goes a picture of him with delicious berries around.
– Cheer, cheer, cheer, – whistled he to all at Chidlovski Blog Chidlovski.
