European Starlings. American Darlings.
It seems that they’ve been here forever,
European Starlings. American Darlings.
Actually, they were transplanted to America from Europe in the 1890s. It’s hard to imagine these guys are not originally from around here.
It just clicked for them.
Starlings are everywhere. Loud and possessive, they never give up.
In our yard, they are self-proclaimed trend setters. It doesn’t matter if we or other little fellows in the backyard don’t like starlings’ intervention.
They run things their way.
If they like disco, everybody are forced to like it too.
Got to like these guys persistence 🙂
