Summer Olympics, Seoul, South Korea, 1988: Slawomir Zawada (Poland), Nail Mukhamedyarov (USSR) and Anatoly Khrapaty (USSR) perform clean-and-jerk lifts. Yury Zakharevich (USSR) snatches 210KG (world record) and wins the gold medal in the heavyweight class (110KG) with the 455KG in total (world record). Super heavyweight class (110+KG). Alexander Kurlovitch (USSR) lifts 250KG in his 3rd clean-n-jerk attempt and wins the gold medal by setting the new Olympic record in total (462.5KG).
