Hi there, I am his daughter and just became close friend with one son of Marcel Betrian who was my father's trainer back than. I have received some pictures of him. My nephew Marcel Betrian was his trainer on the island of Curacao. The gym was a garage with wooden devices.. bench press etc. And later on the new gym was built with two existing walls of the Rif soccer ball stadium. There were no tiles in the bathroom. Tomy Kono an American weightlifter at that time could not believe that. This is a story of hard work and perseverance for an island with only 130,000 inhabitants.
