Quite a shock. He was a superb middleweight during the mid nineteen seventies and made impressive lifts. He seemed to idolize Rigert and even wore the same striped tee shirt while competing...of course most lifters did idolize Rigert, eben in the US. Sorry to have lost another colorful character from lifting.
