Yia sou Khaki. As a fellow Olympic weightlifter 1980 and 1984 I am proud of you and what you experienced in your life and career. I remember when you and the Greek Olympic lifting team came to Sydney in 1999 to train before the Sydney Olympics where I was asked by your coach Christos Iakovou my friend, to arrange all the teams training accommodation etc. It was a pleasure and there I met you all for the first time. I never forget when you asked me to take you to our zoo, you loved it and it was a pleasure. And those Cuban cigars that's another story. All the best and God Bless. (As they call me in Greek,) Vasilis

This guy could lift he had all the attributes that make near perfection and maybe a little help from the lab ... oh well most of top lifters have a little help from dr. Jeckel this should not take away from their accomplishments

If you look at this man his physique is ordinary compared to past champions in his weight class example David Rigert. Rigert came from the old days when the press was in effect and you needed that incredible shoulder muscle but with advent of snatch and clean/jerk as predicated by so many a new type of physique took over with immense strength in hips.See some of the side shots shown and you can see where this man gets his strength. You can know understand why women are so good at Olympic lifting because of their hip strength.
