Found this page after a late night google search for my great great uncle Sammy. This is my great grandads brother he was born on the 2nd July - which is what prompted my search of his name - do today would have been his 89th birthday. Sadly he was taken early from the family in the early 60s in a collision incident where a lorry ran him over while he was on a cycle to work I believe. Hopefully he rests peacefully.
