On a Sidewalk

This is a red-winged blackbird having a Saturday evening promenade in the Deer Island reservation.

Usually, I don’t do snapshot birds photography. It’s always about a chemistry between photographers and birds.You need to focus not only your camera but your mind too.

Snapshots usually don’t come up nice. This one is one of a few exceptions.

We were driving along the road when we spotted this guy pacing the grass along the sidewalk. I slowed down the car, reached for the camera and made this photo.
