Tree Swallow, the Agile Flyer

I felt lucky when finally I managed to get a decent shot of this bird.

There were plenty of swallows and martins at the Belle Isle cruising in their flights over the brooks and fields.

Swallows are brilliant flyers. They have a slender, streamlined body and long pointed wings, allowing great maneuverability and endurance. They do glide in the air! And yes, it’s not an easy task to capture on camera their flight.

If anyone to be called an agile flyer, it should be these fellas.
