I am surprised Robert Kabbas did not see this first but he is busy writing a history of Victorian weightlifting. I cannot recall clearly if Greg Hayman was competing at an Intervarsity competition I went to at the University of Newcastle in 1985, but Gerald Hay was a referee there.

The result for Greg Hayman in 1974 perhaps should be credited to Gerald Hay as the former lifter was only ever a flyweight in my recollection.
