PERFORMANCE IN THE 1972 SUMMIT

Frank Mahovlich played in 6 games and earned a less than impressive "minus 2" for his performance at the Series. Apparently, his lumbering style was not the best weapon in the fast paced game offered by the Soviet team. However, Mahovlich didn't just contribute to the Canadian team with points and shots on goal. He arguably belongs to the group of experienced classy NHLers on the team roster that brought a winning spirit to Team Canada in the Series.
